Look Good, Feel Better® is a free program for women undergoing cancer treatment. Held nationwide, it’s a collaboration between the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and the national Cosmetology Association.
Each month, Willmar Regional Cancer Center holds a two-hour session that’s taught by professional cosmetologists who donate their time. Women going through cancer treatment learn about skin care, nail care, makeup, and new hair looks that include wigs, scarves, hats, and turbans. Each participant receives a new unused wig, as well as a free kit filled with beauty products donated to the American Cancer Society for the program
