Willmar Medical Services is pleased to announce that Amy Mugge, RN, has been hired as the new Director for Willmar Regional Cancer Center. She replaces Kellie Prentice, who has been serving as the interim director since July 2014.
Mugge most recently served as an RN Manager with Northland Assisted Living in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. She has a wide range of hospital-based and private practice experience, including many years as an oncology nurse, planning and implementing care for patients with cancer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica.
As Director of Willmar Regional Cancer Center, Mugge will oversee clinical and administrative operations, including financial, staffing, quality, engagement and development. She will also serve as a liaison between specialists and administration. Mugge will partner with others in moving the WRCC to the next level of service for patients in our communities.

Mugge is originally from the Willmar area and currently resides in New London.
