Dr. Tod W. Speer Named Willmar Regional Cancer Center Medical Director
WILLMAR, MN – Willmar Regional Cancer Center (WRCC), a joint venture between Rice Memorial Hospital and ACMC is pleased to announce that Dr. Tod Speer has been named Willmar Regional Cancer Center’s Medical Director.
“Dr. Speer has been seeing patients at the cancer center since 2013 and has been a huge asset to our team at Willmar Regional Cancer Center,” says Director, Amy Mugge. He received his undergraduate degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, attended medical school at Indiana University and completed his Radiation Oncology Residency at the University of Florida. Prior to WRCC, Dr. Speer was a clinical professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Medicine. Dr. Speer continues to teach at the University to train new residents.
“Dr. Speer’s vast amount of experience and knowledge along with his desire to increase treatment options available at our clinic are just a few reasons why we are lucky to have him providing cancer care to patients in west central Minnesota,” says Willmar Medical Services President, Michael Schramm.
Dr. Speer belongs to the American Society for Radiation, Oncology, Society of Nuclear Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society for Radiation Oncology, Wisconsin Medical Society and Gilbert H. Fletcher Society.
Dr. Speer is contracted to work at Willmar Regional Cancer Center through Allina Health.
